Is the food fresh?
As fresh as can be!
The reason to choose OrderHawaiianFood.com is because we cook the food AFTER you order.
Unlike our competition, our delicious food products are never sitting in
the freezer awaiting purchase.
Can I make substitutions for package deal items?
Absolutely! Substitutions
are commonly made for poi, as some people do not require the amount included
in the Package Deals. Feel free to interchange the following items: Poi,
any of our Kalua Meats and Lomi Salmon. Please note that our Kalua Meats
and Lomi Salmon are available in 14 oz. or 5 lb. increments and Lau Lau are either 2 or 3 per tray depending on variety. When ordering, simply
pick the luau package deal that suits your needs and in the COMMENTS section
include something like:
Instead of 11 lb. of Poi please send:
1 lb. of Poi
5 lb. of Kalua Turkey
5 lb. of Lomi Salmon

Can I pay by check or money order?
No... However we do accept any major
credit or debit card. You may also pay via your PayPal account.
When should I place my order?
Now!
It is not uncommon for orders to be placed months in advanced. The earlier you
place an order, the better.
When will I receive my order?
You may enter
later shipping dates. Due to our production
schedule, we only ship on Mondays or Tuesdays.
What is the lead time required to place an order?
First,
give us as much notice as possible. It is not uncommon for orders to be placed
months in advance. Our cooking and shipping department requires four working days'
notice from shipping date. Due to our production schedule, we only ship on Tuesday.
How
do I know the shipping cost?
Use the web site and add products to your shopping cart. Click View Shipping Charges link in the shopping cart.
Will
UPS leave my package if I am not home?
Whether or not UPS will leave your package, is solely up to the discretion of
the UPS driver. If the drop off location is in a 'safe' area, then the UPS driver
will leave at your doorstep. However, if the UPS driver has had any issues in
the past regarding stolen or missing packages, he/she probably will not take the
chance and leave your package. You can safely assume if other packages have been
left for you in the past, that this one will also be left for you. Refunds of any kind are not given unless packages are received by a person.
Please note at this time UPS is not offering refunds on late packages, so
we cannot provide refunds for delayed packages. We do pack our coolers to withstand 3 days of travel and we have had a 99.4 percent on-time rate.
If there is severe weather forecasted for the destination address, please reschedule. We cannot offer refunds on packages that arrive warm.
Why is the shipping cost so high?
Shipping costs are not marked up. We use the UPS internet shipping calculator
to calculate freight costs. Costs of shipping are determined by: charges by UPS,
foam insulated cooler at $42 each (some orders require several) and market cost
of gel pack ice.
I
live on the East Coast - can I buy a luau?
We ship anywhere in the US. Wherever you are, we can send our food to your
doorstep!
